How to setup a wireless printer

Though, there are several brand’s printers are available in the market. There are two basic ways to attach a printer to your computer.

  • Attach it directly to the computer and share it with others via a network. (LAN)
  • Connect the printer to the network as a standalone device(Wireless).
How to setup a wireless printer

Both the ways are simple as well preferable according to the user’s need, but a wireless printer is beneficial where a number of systems can be attached and can share the data with single printer only. Before use, it requires few simple setup steps for wireless printers:-
Steps:-

  1. Click on “Start” button, then go to “ Devices and printers”.
  2. Select the option named” Add a printer” which is on the top of the Window. A child window will Open.
  3. Click to “Add a Network “, Select one either “Wireless” or “Bluetooth printer”. The computer will search for the available printer to attach.
  4. Choose the name of the printer you want to add in the list of results and press”Next Button”.
  5. Click to install drivers if your computer does not have.
  6. Follow all the Onscreen guidelines or instructions and then press”Finish”. Your computer will directly recognize the network and print something to check the accuracy level of your printer.
